The Welsh Corgi is a sturdy and small dog that is widely known for its short legs, which makes their body look long.

There are two types of Welsh Corgi:

Cardigan Welsh Corgi
Pembroke Welsh Corgi

Origin of Welsh Corgi

Welsh Corgi date back to 1107 AD, when they have travelled with Flemish weavers and Vikings. During the 10th century, they were used for herding sheep, ducks, and other livestock.

They are related to Keeshond, Samoyed, Pomeranian, Schipperke, Norwegian Elkhound, Chow Chow and Spitz.
