Origin of Boston terrier

They are widely known as “Little American Gentleman”, especially because of their nature. This particular breed is all-American. The first Boston terrier was a combination of White English terrier and English bulldog. The dog later was combined with a white female, and the first ones were born.

In the late 19th century they started growing in popularity. The first ones were quite smaller and known as gentle and kind animals. They became wonderful family pets. Because of that reputation, Boston terrier has travelled and enjoyed great success in Australia.
